Watched an old movie today "Adventureland" (2009) and what can I say... Great! ^_^
I don't know what makes the movie great. Is it Jesse? Kristen? Ryan Reynolds or the soundtracks of the movie, but from my perspective, the whole concept of making movie just like from the 80s is superb.



Not only it shows the lifestyle from the disco era, it shows how SOME people struggled on choosing the right career in their life and in the meantime, doing part-time jobs. Affairs and friendship... and so on.. I found myself laughing from watching it too xD

So watch this amazing movie from Greg Mottola! :D

Desperately need some ideas... It's like I've been wasting my time for the past few months. When I looked back, I've never even accomplished in anything :( except for getting some new songs to download and becoming a succesful fashion designer x) ...... in Facebook......ugh

Well today I've watched a movie "Julie and Julia" played by Meryl Streep and Amy Adams. From that movie, I've realized that it's important to have some goal in your life. No matter how small the effect is...

So, maybe I should set some goal for myself right?? :)

I've been thinking on what to do for quite some time now.. So, maybe my first task is to paint a picture that crossed my mind at that time. That's the easiest thing that I could think of xD Task starts tomorrow..

Valentine's Day

So, Valentine's Day is around the corner :) It seems that everyone is excited about it. Well, who do you love? Haha^^ Will be seeing lots of chocs and gifts now..

My favourite movie that I think is suitable for this day is an old time movie "A Walk To Remember". Cried at the end of it :(

School Activities

Wee..On Monday, our school are going to have a "Pesta Kaamatan" and "Teacher's Day"!

Our school made another entry to MBR and this time we collected the biggest amount of aluminum cans. Collecting them was not an easy task. My parents helped us a lot. My grandma too. My brother and I contributed 5.1kg.

Nevertheless, I was happy that I participated the campaign. I was one of them - creating the record. That should make me proud :)

Houses on Fire

On the 14 April 2009, my classmate and close friend, Gil was asked to go home by our teacher. At first we didn't know what happen. During recess, a friend told me, Gil's house was on fire. I was like, OMG! I hope everything is under control.

Upon reaching home, I texted my mom at work about the fire. Mom immediately informed dad and dad got the information. Fortunately, Gil's house was spared by the fire.

Gil texted me that night and informed me everything was okay. She said, "Jesus was there!" She just can't believe the wind blew to the opposite direction from her house. She believed Jesus was there helping them! Thank God!

Holy Week - Good Friday

I saw a man being ushered in a wheelchair. Mom told us, the man is happened to be a priest. An old retired priest. His name is Rev. Fr. Augustine Amandus and he is from Papar. Mom further informed us Fr. Amandus is the first Kadazan Priest.

Then she told me a story ;) Once upon a time, on the day of my baptism, Fr. Amandus asked my mom of my name. Mom replied "Gwynth". He then, after making a deep thinking, said "Oh! it's a name from Irish. An Irish Saint". My mom said, luckily he didn't ask how to spell my name *LOL* And by the way, he wasn't the priest who baptized me, it was Mgr. Primus Jouil who according to my mom had difficulty in calling my name *LOL*

Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Concert

I've just watched Hannah Montana concert (in tv..), featuring The Jonas Brothers. The concert was held in Washington on Feb. 4th. It was a blast!


Miley Cyrus is very pretty in her clothes (of course..), and she sang all of her songs 'wonderfully'...especially "I Miss You" the one that made me swoon to it..

She wrote this song for her grandpa, who died a few years ago. While she sings this song, we can see pictures of her grandpa on the screen with her and family. For those who wants to play this song, you can get the guitar tabs from Ultimate Guitar..

As for The Jonas Brothers, they only performed 2 songs, "When You Look Me In The Eyes" (which is my FAVOURITE song from them), and "3000". Both of the songs are truly NICE and AMAZING...! I love all 3 of them, because they are very energetic and wild while performing...you can see it from the way the crowd screamed and danced during the performance! Check out The Jonas Brothers...

Final Fantasy XIII

Okay, so most of you guys know about the new Final Fantasy series (Final Fantasy XIII)... Here's SOME information about it :

Final Fantasy XIII (ファイナルファンタジーXIII, Fainaru Fantajī Sātīn) is an upcoming console role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix exclusively for the Sony PlayStation 3 as a part of the Final Fantasy video game series. First appearing at E³ 2006, the game features a futuristic, high-tech world, and a storyline focusing on "those who resist the world".

Final Fantasy XIII is the flagship game in the Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII collection. The game takes place in the same universe as the other games, although they are not directly related to each other. Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings director Motomu Toriyama returns as the director of the game.

The concept for Final Fantasy XIII's battle system is a sysytem system stemmed from a desire to create battles of the type found in Final Fantasy XII, while adding multiple player characters to the battle. Like Final Fantasy XII, the battles will be in real time, without any random battles.

Active Time Battle makes a return in Final Fantasy XIII but works differently from how it did in previous games that used it. In keeping with command-based battles, players input commands by selection through a reel on the bottom-left hand side of the screen. Each command has an ATB (Active Time Battle) cost, which reduces the total ATB bar. Selected commands are placed on a row of upcoming moves, above the bar. As characters fight, each command is used in turn, with the current command in use turning yellow. Commands can be chained together for certain effects. The environment also plays a role in battle; for instance, Lightning (the main character) has been seen sending a soldier into a light, electrocuting him and multiplying the damage.

So...sounds interesting? Well, go on and buy yourself a new PS3! ^^
