PLAY! to feature titles from Nintendo

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., April 5, 2006 - JMP Productions announced today that titles from Nintendo games are going to be featured in PLAY!. The SUPER MARIO BROS. and THE LEGEND OF ZELDA series are going to take part in the symphonic world-tour. All orchestral arrangements are world-exclusive and have never been heard live before in this form.

The MARIO arrangement will include music from titles such as SUPER MARIO BROS., SUPER MARIO WORLD and SUPER MARIO 64. The PLAY! arrangement of music from ZELDA will include music from titles such as THE LEGEND OF ZELDA, THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: A LINK TO THE PAST and THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: LINK'S AWAKENING. Additional titles to be announced.

Says Jason Michael Paul: "Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda serve as the evolutionary platform for modern day video games. The theme songs from these classic games serve as iconic anthems for multiple gaming generations. What has been hailed as the greatest selling video games of all time hopefully will encourage fans to attend one of the most highly-anticipated video game concert events.".
